Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Sonelvia app for iPhone and iPad (the “App”) and the website sonelvia.com (together, the “Service”). By downloading or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Sonelvia provides short affirmations that can be played as audio in AI-generated voices, with optional background sounds, together with a weekly goal, a daily letter, a wish map, a notebook and optional notifications. Daily letters and some texts are written with the help of artificial intelligence and are meant as gentle encouragement, not as predictions or advice. Some practices, voices, background sounds and features are available only with a Sonelvia Plus subscription (see section 7). Features may change, be added or be removed over time.

2. Not medical advice

Sonelvia is a wellbeing and self-reflection tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological or therapeutic advice, diagnosis or treatment. Do not use it as a substitute for professional care. If you are in crisis or think you may have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately. Do not use the App in situations where listening could be unsafe, such as while driving.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to create an account.
You can listen without an account. If you create one, provide an email address you control and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
You can delete your account at any time in the App under Profile.

4. Your content

With Sonelvia Plus and an account, you may create your own practices: write phrases, group them into private collections and upload cover images (“Your Content”). Your phrases are read aloud by the App’s AI voices; the App does not record or upload your voice. You keep all rights to Your Content. You grant us a limited license to store, process and deliver Your Content only as needed to provide the Service to you, including sending phrase text to our text-to-speech provider to generate audio. Your Content is private and is not shown to other users.

You are responsible for Your Content and confirm that you have the rights to use it. Do not upload content that is unlawful or infringes others’ rights.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: attempting to access other users’ data or our systems without authorization; interfering with or overloading the Service; using automated means to extract the catalogue or generate audio in bulk; reverse engineering the Service except where the law allows; or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Our content and AI voices

The catalogue texts, generated recordings, voice portraits, design and software of the Service are owned by Sonelvia or its licensors and are provided for your personal, non-commercial use within the App. Voices are generated by artificial intelligence; voice portraits are illustrative and do not depict real voice actors.

7. Sonelvia Plus subscription

The App is free to download. Without a subscription you can use the free practices, the free voice, the default background sound or no background, the weekly goal, the daily letter, the wish map, the notebook and synchronization of your data.

Sonelvia Plus is an optional auto-renewable subscription. It unlocks all practices, all voices and all background sounds, and lets you create your own practices. The free and Plus parts of the catalogue are marked in the App and may change over time.

Plans and price. Sonelvia Plus is offered as a weekly or a monthly plan. The price of each plan is shown in the App in your local currency before you buy. Prices may differ between countries.
Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple; we never see your payment details.
Automatic renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period for the same length and price unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Managing and cancelling. You can change your plan or cancel at any time in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or from Profile → Sonelvia Plus in the App. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep access until then. Deleting the App or your Sonelvia account does not cancel the subscription.
Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies, which you can use at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not provide refunds for partial periods except where the law requires it.
No account needed. You can subscribe without a Sonelvia account. The subscription belongs to your Apple ID; on another device signed in to the same Apple ID, use Restore purchases. If you sign in to a Sonelvia account, your subscription is also linked to that account.
Price changes. If the price of a plan changes, Apple informs you in advance and, where required, asks for your consent before the new price applies.
When the subscription ends. Plus content becomes unavailable. Your sound settings return to the free voice and the default background sound. Your own practices stay stored in your account but cannot be played or edited until you subscribe again; you can still delete them.

8. Availability

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Some features, such as generating new recordings, require an internet connection and may be subject to daily limits.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these Terms or put the Service or other users at risk.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, and are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

11. Apple

These Terms are between you and Sonelvia, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the App must also comply with the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement and the App Store Terms of Service.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
